Looking for a provider with VOD and a few channels only

Hello!

We just got a firestick and looking into getting IPTV and/or good VOD provider. I know what we want will be difficult to get from one provider only but we're willing to get 2 or 3, if the price is not over the board. Basically, we're looking into:

- VOD with latest updates: we're not always home to watch live TV and we want to be able to catch up on our missed episodes within 1 or 2 weeks.

- A "small" IPTV provider with US/Canadian channels, but not too many - we don't need 5000 and more, just the most popular. Movies and TV shows mostly, and we don't care about sports, +18, news, weather,... What you would get with a basic cable subscription in Toronto is more than enough for us !

- French IPTV, again with the most popular channels, I don't want 2000.

Also, if possible, something with an option for subtitles (I have very low hopes on this one).

I will not get anything without a free trial, I don't need 3 days, just 1 hour is enough, but I want to know ahead of time what I will get. We have Perfect Player on the firestick but can get whatever apk we need !

Look into apollogroup.tv it has some of the best and most reliable vod. Sign up for trakt.tv and you can use it to track your shows right from their Kodi add-on. With a trakt client on your phone you can set up your watch lists and schedule your nights in and get recommendations based on what you watch, a whole netflix experience with a lot more content and live TV as a bonus.
