Longtime experience and testing have led me to these conclusions.
First off let me say that there are some bad services and some really bad services and then there are good services and really good services. But if you are having buffering and channels cutting out chances are it is you and your internet connection or the quality of your device.
Devices: Not all Android devices are made the same as they are just mini computers with an Android operating system. Just like your pc or laptop, they are only as good as the hardware that they all use. 1 gig of ram and even 2 gig of ram can cause many buffering issues. Storage is also a problem and 8 gig can slug up your system and if you use a lot of different APK files on it including vpn, your system is going to be slower. I highly recommend a 4gig 32 gig android box.
Wifi hardware on the box is hard to tell a good one from a poor one. If your Android box is far away from your modem and router then the cheaper devices will not have a longer connection and will cut out. Putting the box closer to the main connection is best. If the box is in a far room 3 floors down, then you will have problems so get a good wifi extender.
Your Effing internet provider is probably your worst offender but we are all in need of their services. The hate iptv users because you are talking money out of their greedy pockets. They can mak so much trouble for you as I have experienced. I have 5 kids in the cable business and they all agree that the providers mess with your connection. Even if you use legal apps like Nflix, Hulu, Youtube, or any thing that requires video play back. They want you to pay more and in my case, $50 month more for something 3 years ago was free in the US. You might be lucky now but due to US law changes, (I forgot the law name). Use of an internet provider can vary big time. They will not help u in most cases.
Using smart tv's with built in app that is made before 2015 are problematic for iptv same as an android box.
How many devices you run at the same time off the same modem will slow up boxes.
Oh yes and free trial people. If you have an aggressive reseller that is giving out 100's of free trials, then they are slowing up his system.
Mag devices are getting their STB's shut down by the company that built them. More about that later too.
Big events and weekends are when the bulk of users are watching tv so yes this is the on the iptv provider but that is for another post so before you complain about your reseller check these things out first.
This is only a few points and there are many others. One thing I know for sure is that if you decide to go cheap then cheap is what u get and quality will drop one way or another.
4Gram lol what a bs ! A android box needs 1 and thats it ( for iptv ) the only thing is it needs to be a good brand like Siemens not shit brands !
