AFAIK they lock it to the devices with hardware identifiers. Plenty of people have tried to do what you are going to attempt, and they have all failed.
If you could find a way to do it I'd definitely pay ~ $10 for it.

The only way to make it run on an android box, is to make it like stb emulator. Like a formuler emulator. We tried coding for android was faced with literally thousands and thousands of errors.

The best business plan is to give access to the users ..not for the resellers. A price between 5 and 10€ per year...it s a good deal !
That app on the shield would be a dream , no disrespect to TIVIMATE , STBEMU , Smarters and so on but they dont work as well as MYTVOL or have the same real tv box feel about them ... I have a shield and a formulerZ8 , i find myself using the Z8 more than the shield for IPTV ...TVIMATE could be as good but just needs a few improvements like a search option , pause live tv ...
